The organizer for the Flying Pig defended her decision to begin the race at its scheduled time amid criticism that the race was unsafe to start.

Flying Pig participants were soaked when heavy rain, thunder and lightning hit the Tri-State shortly after the race began.

While the competitors run the course, one woman is running behind the scenes to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.

For the 2023 edition of the famed Cincinnati race, the age policy has been updated so that participants must be 18 years old on the day of the race to participate in the marathon portion of the event.

The race has drastically expanded its age policy concerning runners after a 6-year-old completed the full marathon last year.

This year, the Flying Pig has drastically expanded its policy concerning the age of racers.
