Christian Joshua Howard, 26, was arrested about 9 a.m. Friday at his workplace in Corona in connection with the traffic death of 51-year-old Tracey Gross, according to the Oceanside Police Department.

The 11:35 p.m. collision that took Tracey Gross' life was reported near the intersection of state Route 76 and Singh Way on March 17

A suspect has been taken into custody in connection to a hit-and-run collision that left a woman dead in Oceanside back in March.

A family is still searching for answers after a mother of two was killed by a hit-and-run driver while riding her bike in Oceanside.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver in a hit-and-run that killed cyclist Tracey Gross in Oceanside near State Route 76 and Singh Way.

“She was selfless… she would give everything to her kids to the community,” said Bill Perez, Tracey’s former husband and the father of their two children.

Family and friends honored an Oceanside mother killed by a suspected hit-and-run driver. Police are still looking for the suspect.
