They believe this is the second time in 15 years. No one knows why. The theory is the bay waters are water and they tend to reproduce more in warmer temperatures. The life cycle is about a year. After that one year of the population boom then theres a massive death. Reporter i wish i could show it to you but we got here around 3 00, havent seen one on the beach. Naturalists say you can investigate and touch it but dont take it home. Leave them here on the beach. Live in alameda, im da lin, kpix ...

A witness was on the ride and saw what happened. I think somebody dropped a cell phone. Then some guy went in front of the first flight deck. He got dragged 10 to 15 feet. A park employee did go to the hospital with traumatic injure is very and a visitor was taken to the hospital with a hand injury. A spokesperson says the ride will remain closed until all safety avenues are explored. Investigators do not think the ride malfunctioned.
