This heartwarming memory play by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage runs in the Judy Bayley Theatre on Dec. 9-18.

The last of the great Chekhovian canon, The Cherry Orchard examines the lives of an aristocratic Russian landowner and her family at the turn of the 20th century.

Theatre MFA candidate Skylar Schock and theatre and film professor Adam Paul executive produce the event, an evening of stand-up comedy, followed by a talk back with the comics aimed at opening up conversation and sharing resources for mental health.

In Shakespeare's enchanting comedy, misguided passions mix with magic spells to blur the lines between order and disorder, reality and illusion.

Full of swashbuckling and sparkling repartee, this classic is a comic tangle of wild schemes and hilarious happenstance that will hit the bullseye. For mature audiences.
