Thieves smashing a car into a cell phone store near Orange Mound just hours after Christmas.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating a smash-and-grab incident at Smooth Wireless near Park and Highland. When our crews arrived, they saw the front door smashed in and completely damaged. So far, there’s no word on what was taken and who is responsible. WREG will provide more details as they become available.

Memphis Police were sent to the burglary scene Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, after 3:30 a.m. at the Smooth Wireless store on Park Avenue.

Criminals appeared to have gotten inside by breaking through the stores glass door or window.

The woman was shot at the gas station in East Memphis on Thursday.
