Environment Canada has issued weather warnings for parts of the Okanagan and Shuswap regions of B.C. Heavy snow and freezing rain are in the forecast.

Warnings have been cancelled on the eastern and inland parts of Vancouver Island, in Greater Victoria, on the Sunshine Coast, in Whistler, in Howe Sound, and more.

B.C.'s minister of transportation said crews are ready for the upcoming snow and rain forecast to arrive on the South Coast Tuesday night and into Wednesday.

Environment Canada has issued a number of weather warnings across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, which are expecting rain and snowfall this week.

A change in weather is headed to the southern part of B.C. and with it will be a heavy layer of snow, according to Environment Canada.

5PM: The Snowfall Warning has now ended for the Montreal region.

The snowfall is expected to begin Wednesday night and should last into Thursday.

Saskatoon is expected to see between 10 to 15 centimetres of snow between Tuesday and Wednesday.

It seems as if winter is in full force across Quebec as we await the biggest snowstorm of the season. The snowstorm is expected to impose several meteorological hazards, including snowfall and a possible freezing rain weather warning from Environment Canada.

DriveBC service says motorists on Highway 99 between Squamish and Whistler, as well as Highway 3, should be prepared for low visibility and possible delays.
