A new suitor has emerged for the former Youngblood Lumber Co. property in northeast Minneapolis.

Projects honored this year include the Market at Malcolm Yards and an addition to the Center for Performing Arts; several apartment buildings, and a number of additions and renovations to schools and universities.

Prolific North Loop developer Solhem Cos. is undertaking another project in the neighborhood, with plans to convert the Security Warehouse from offices into mixed-use, multifamily apartment units — pending city approval.
