Rome is to create a network of study rooms in museums and libraries as part of an initiative aimed at providing students with public spaces for studying.

Romes city-run museums will be open on Christmas Eve and on New Years Eve, until 14.00. They will be closed on Christmas Day but open on New Years Day.
