If im a teacher and im teaching a student and that student is either regressing, not getting up to speed, then why shouldnt i be judged on that same basis? because i should be judged by the product of what im doing. if a teacher is not judged on that, and that doesnt go in the pay scale, then were wasting a lot of money. now the teachers union insists on tenure after three years in l.a. unified, so its crazy because people who are obviously not qualified, not producing a student learning, people...
