Three water main breaks in Shaler are impacting traffic by flooding local roads.

It was a strange sight — something big, yellow, expensive and stolen was rolling through some Shaler Township neighborhood streets.

The Shaler Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help while they investigate the theft of heavy equipment.

Shaler police say the break happened on the lower section of Soose Road near Parker Street and Seavey Road.
