On March 4, 2024, from the grounds of Vandenberg Space Force Base in the US, Hubble Network successfully launched its first two satellites.

Digantara: Maitri will demonstrate progress towards space debris management and a sustainable space future, as per a statement from the Australian government. It will incorporate an Australian built Orbital Servicing Vehicle launched on a dedicated Indian launcher, it said.

The new facility, spanning 25,000 square feet in Hebbal, Bengaluru, serves as a satellite assembly, integration and testing (AIT) facility. The Bengaluru-based startup is currently planning to launch a constellation of space-based space surveillance satellites.

Spacetech startup Pixxel appoints William McCombe as new CFO. McCombe previously held the position of CFO at Velo3D and has experience in space and technology hardware companies like Maxar. As Pixxels CFO, McCombe will oversee accounting, financial planning, capital raising, and more.

India News: Pixxel, a spacetech startup, has opened a new satellite manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The facility consolidates all satellite manufacturing services under one roof and is equipped to handle more than 20 satellites simultaneously.

Spacetech startup Pixxel inaugurated its new assembly, integration, and testing facility in Bengaluru. The facility, built in northern Bengaluru, consists of a clean room and testing area spread over 20,000 square feet.

“The facility is designed for the companys own internal manufacturing. It has been built to ensure that at least for the next two years, Pixxel can integrate and test all its satellites like the Fireflies constellation set to launch in June and October this year in two installments, and the Honeybees constellation in 2025,” Ahmed told ET.

Pixxel: In a keynote speech, Somanath said that the facility reminded him of his early days building the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for ISRO years ago.

Spacetech Startup: Bellatrix achieved a significant milestone with the launch of its propulsion systems – Rudra and Arka – on board the national space agency’s PSLV C-58 launch vehicle on January 1. This gives the company its first space qualification.
