THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday hit out at Union minister V Muraleedharan over his remarks on the gold smuggling case, alleging that smuggling of gold through diplomatic baggage began after the BJP leader from the state took over as Minister of State for External Affairs.
Vijayan claimed Muraleedharan, on multiple occasions, had said the baggage seized by Customs was not a diplomatic one. We have heard a Minister of State who is in charge of the Union Ministry of External Affairs. He is said to be in charge of the Middle East. Is there any estimate of how much gold has been smuggled since he became a minister?
Kerala Election 2021: Pinarayi Vijayan alleged the centre was interfering the election campaign
Thiruvananthapuram:
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has alleged that central investigative agencies have taken over the election campaigns in the state, where polling will be held on April 6. All I have to say to the BJP and the agencies that dance to their tunes is this - we are not the kind of people you are accustomed to dealing with. We are different. No matter what you do, this land will not blame us. Our lives are open books, and you will soon realise it, Mr Vijayan said today.
