This is a little important context in terms of understanding whats about to happen next in congress and why the common wisdom might be wrong. when the congress decided back in january that they were not going to throw us off the so-called fiscal cliff, remember that, they didnt just get to make that decision. they actually had to pass legislation to do that. and as legislation, it doesnt have to just go through the democratic controlled senate it had to go through the republican controlled house...
