Series big brother were reported to Production Managers at endemol, the Production Company commissioned by channel 4. In a statement, banijay uk, which purchased endemol in 2020, said in light of the very serious allegations relating to the alleged serious misconduct of Russell Brand while presenting shows produced by endemol in 2004 and 2005, banijay uk has launched an urgent internal investigation and will co operate with any requests for information from broadcast partners and external agencies. It adds, the company encourage anybody who feels that they were affected by Brands Behaviour while working on these productions to contact them in confidence. Meanwhile, a charity supported by Russell Brands own Charitable Foundation has cut ties with him. Trevi women and Childrens Charity said it was deeply saddened and upset by the allegations.
