Southern Manitoba and some regions in the north are gripped by bitterly cold temperatures and biting winds for yet another day.

Aside from the far north and a few pockets along the east and west of the province, extreme cold warnings have been extended for most of the province again early Monday morning.

Extreme cold warnings are in effect for northern Manitoba Monday, with temperatures in the –35 C range expected, Environment Canada says.
