The film’s fourth phase of shooting is currently going at Kunigal Stud farm, Karnataka.

She made her mark in the Tamil film industry with her debut in the 1978 film Thappu Thalangal, directed by K. Balachander.

A function was held at Shanthinagar to release the poster aimed at introducing the character played by Srinagar Kitty. A 30-ft cutout of his character – Christopher - was released on Saturday.

Srinagar Kitty and Rachita Ram are all set to star in Sanju Weds Geetha 2.

Meghana is seen wearing a deep purple Banarasi saree with golden detailing in the poster.

“The film is about the aspirations of a middle-aged person in a village. There is another character – a youth – in the movie. He dreams of a bright future. Whether these people will realise their dreams is what the film is all about,’’ said Mundadi, adding that the movie has emotion, comedy and other elements. ​
