Questions about his stemna -- stamina and its really worth knowing he can as president or as democratic nominee stick it out on campaign trail. >> kevin, do you think its indicative of larger problem for biden? >> yeah, as you pointed out at the outset of the segment, former vice president is prone to making gaffes, i was with him in campaign launch in philadelphia and on the trail, he shows a lot of vigor, of course he misspeaks as the president do. we have 180 days left until iowa caucuses but...

Dana mill bank called him brilliantly and gloriously adequate. and frank broonny writing in the "new york times" saying while he was better prepared and composed, quote, biden hardly put the doubts about his sturdiness and stamina to rest. theres that way in which he trails off at the end of his sentence or argument. all the little hiccups en route. the messy seams connecting one thought to the until. the demeanor that falls into a maddening gray area between engage and fully animated if the boo...

The endurance. i dont know how they do it, the athleticism of it. it was actually harder than we anticipated for biden. he was taking incoming for an hour and a half, two hours, whatever, from everywhere and he is where today? >> i think for the biden supporters who are kind of breathing in a paper bag for a week since the last debate, they feel pretty good. he was good enough and he had a solid opening. he really -- counter punch is an overused term -- but he deflected attacks and did it in a h...

Youre having a bad day or bad week, and need to prove all this talk of us falling in the polls is wrong, bang, endorsements. obviously there are 10 or 12 lesser known candidates for whom this can be the last act. beyond that for biden, who did have a shaky first debate performance, rolling out the endorsements saying, hey, im okay, is part of a very important week for him. >> and those endorsements come right as "the new york times" wrote that there are allies that are nervous about how steady h...

Worried. >> the presidents team has been warning him about joe biden for months. even after the first debate that threat is clearly still there, given that this briefing held just yesterday featured joe biden, president trump also seems to be focused on biden critiquing haggaiing his stamina but whats interesting is the rising threat of other candidates. some of whom they dismissed like elizabeth warren as president trump mentioned his continued critique of her for her native american -- debate ...

His once labeled stamina. others scheduling this hearing had to know this. i am really surprised if their overselling this as the movie and they know that the man is facing apparently some challenges, that they put him in front of the cameras. we were all calling for public hearings but we did not know what people close to robert mueller knew and what the democrats knew that he should not have been in the glare of a public spotlight if he is facing some medical challenge. >> there are a number o...

Have the stamina to do what we just heard? can he run through it as a set of episodes that adds up to playing ball with the russians and screwing with our presidential election? can he do it? >> he makes a legal judgment, not a political one. but i think if he is asked direct questions, leading questions, perhaps asked to read from the report, that this narrative comes through. and perhaps even more importantly, mueller when he issues his summary says this is the evidence that i had available, t...
