In his final years, late actor Dustin Diamond spent a decent amount of time in Peoria. That included temporary residence in a local apartment complex. Whether he or his family were aware of it, the "Saved by the Bell" star also forged a posthumous Peoria connection. Diamond died Feb. 1 in Florida.
