The last publication of Litchfield Independent Review was distributed Wednesday as the community gathered to say their goodbyes to the only community newspaper and the longest continuously-running business in Litchfield.

It’s a sad day today that the Independent Review is stopping publication. I grew up with the paper. Mom subscribed, and after she read it and made her shopping list

So sad to hear that the Independent Review and Crow River Media will cease publication this month. It’s been interesting to read comments about its history and effect on people.
