Stanford Creative Writing Program News Today

The novelist and lawyer—and lifelong Democrat—addresses the president’s Age Thing head-on. (Remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg?)

The Levinthal Tutorials, a creative writing program that gives undergraduates the chance to be mentored by Stegner Fellows, takes place every winter quarter. Both Stegners and Levinthals find the program enriching.

Each year, nearly 200 undergraduate writers and poets throughout North America, and sometimes beyond, come to Weber State University to present their work and learn from some of the most important writers in contemporary literature.

A striking variety of musicians, writers, and artists will perform on campus this quarter, and many of the events are free.

As a part of the Stegner Fellow readings, Faith Merino and Jade Cho presented excerpts from their work last Wednesday.
