As a devout student of José Esteban Muñoz’s conceptions of queer cultural and political (re)imagination, I am often thinking about futurity—and queer futurity in particular—in the ways I structure my own life but also in the art I most like to seek out and burrow into.

Starr Davis is a talented writer and a dedicated mother, who has been featured in various literary platforms like The Kenyon Review, Academy of American Poets Poem-a-Day, the Rumpus, and Catapult. She has been recognized as a fellow at The Luminary, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and PEN America.
