Citing increased drug trafficking and other illegal cross-border activities, Russian border guards controlling Armenia’s frontier with Iran have set up checkpoints along several roads in the country’s southern Syunik province.

According to the FSB’s Border Guard Directorate, there have been violations of the state border by members of extremist and terrorist organizations

According to the State Border Committee, a total of 308 Ukrainians arrived in Belarus over the past 24 hours, including 262 in transit through Poland, 43 through Lithuania, and three through Latvia.

“Belarusian checkpoints are operating in a routine mode,” the committee said.

Over 158,000 foreign nationals have visited Belarus without visas, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
