Over the past day some 180 Ukrainians arrived in Belarus via the EU countries: 156 of them came in transit from Poland, 20 – from Lithuania and four – from Latvia.

Nearly 200 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus in the past 24 hours. All of them came in transit via the European Union countries.

“More than 500 Ukrainian nationals arrived in Belarus over the past weekend in transit via the European Union countries, including 390 Ukrainians via Poland, 100 via Lithuania, and 16 via Latvia,” the State Border Committee said.

"For eight weeks since 15 April, 52,846 foreign citizens took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa. Among them there were 35,864 citizens of Lithuania, 4,602 non-citizens and 12,362 citizens of Latvia.

According to the State Border Committee, all of them came to Belarus from the Ukrainian territory in transit via the European Union countries.

For a month and a half since 15 April, 44,375 foreign citizens took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa. Among them there were 29,427 citizens of Lithuania, 4,179 non-citizens and 10,769 citizens of Latvia.
