The Port of Klaipėda in Lithuania is set to undergo a major transformation in the coming years: from a “gateway to the world” to an “energy port”. In the future, the Port of Klaipėda is expected to become an energy centre, not just a cargo, shipbuilding and repair base, the Port of Klaipėda said in a press release.

Klaipėda is the main port connection in Lithuania, part of the TEN-T North Sea-Baltic corridor, and one of the largest port complexes in the Baltic Sea.
