SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Lake Tahoe Raleys at Stateline will not be reopening, officials said Monday. The store had announced previously their lease would expire on June 30 as management was unable to "come to an agreement with the landlord to extend after offering several collaborative solutions."

The Raley’s grocery store on Lake Tahoe Boulevard was originally supposed to close on June 30 this year.

10:30 p.m. UPDATE: The team at Raleys at the "Y" made great progress in safely removing snow off the roof Wednesday. The Emerald Bay Road store is prepared to reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 16. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif.

The two biggest closures came this last week when Raleys closed its two South Lake Tahoe locations. Good news for shoppers at the "Y" location.
