DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The wonderful Carson Valley community came through yet again with the donation of over 100 stuffed collector bears from Raley’s Food For Families. The bears were donated to the Carson Valley Health Emergency Department and East Fork Fire first responders.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Celebrate the history of one of the biggest legends of the Sierra Nevada when the Lake Tahoe Historial Society hosts the 21st annual Snowshoe Thompson Ski & Snowshoe Celebration on Sunday, March 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This free event will be held in the History Complex, 3058 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
