US firm latest victim of digital asset slump, blaming move on ‘volatility and contagion’ in crypto markets

Voyager Digital cited ongoing market volatility and multimillion dollar loan default by Three Arrows Capital as major factors in its filing for bankruptcy.

Voyager Digital has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Southern District of New York after revealing that more than half of its loaned assets were held by 3AC.

Decision comes amid prolonged volatility in crypto markets, default of Three Arrows Capital on loan from subsidiary.
