FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its Navajo Nation partners celebrate the opening of EPA’s new Flagstaff Field Office with a ribbon-cutting, tour, and a demonstration of equipment for abandoned uranium mine work.

It will be largely focused on investigating and cleaning up hundreds of abandoned mines.
