Bruce Kessler, acclaimed TV director of ‘The Monkees’ and ‘The Rockford Files,’ is survived by his wife, actress Joan Freeman.

Bruce Kessler, who directed episodes of such shows as The Monkees, It Takes a Thief, The Rockford Files, McCloud and The Commish, has died. He was 88.
