Several Gold Star families, who lost loved ones to war, gathered Monday at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at MacDill Park in Tampa for a Memorial Day ceremony honoring their sacrifices.

The Memorial Day Observance ceremony was held this morning at Veterans Memorial Park in Hillsborough County.
