Not only did Steve Ecklund and Mark Boise catch a sturgeon on their first time out — they reeled in a beast as long as a U-haul truck and as heavy as a vending machine.

Fishermen in British Columbia, Canada, recently caught an enormous white sturgeon that is over ten feet long and estimated to be at least 100 years old.

It took two hours to wrestle the 10 foot long sturgeon into the boat on Fraser River, British Columbia.

A massive sturgeon caught near Lillooet, B.C., on Fathers Day may be the largest ever landed on that portion of the Fraser River, according to the company that organized the fishing trip.
