NASCAR's economic model isn't working and Stewart-Haas Racing paid the price as a result

NASCAR teams and the France family have let the negotiations to extend the charter past the 2024 season expire at the end of January.

Stewart-Haas Racing, which has won 69 NASCAR Cup Series races and two season points championships, will be out of the sport at the end of the year.

Ford now has its own "all-star" car in the form of RFK Racing's Stage 60, which will run its first race at the Daytona 500 with David Ragan.

RFK Racing will field a third car in the Daytona 500 for David Ragan under a program called #Stage60. A former Jack Roush driver, Ragan will drive the No. 60 Ford Mustang. It is a number the organization used to run in the Xfinity Series, winning a championship with Chris Buescher.
