While big bluefish are being found out front along the South Shore, false albacore are being caught amongst the Three Bays, and Boston's inner harbor is bubbling with blues, bass, blackfish and big bergalls.

Bass and blues are in binge mode and can be found wherever pogies are schooled up.

Strong striped bass and bluefish blitzes are being fueled by both adult and peanut bunker, cod action has been strong, and fluke season is going out with a bang.

Blues have been belting plugs and shredding soft plastics from Nahant through Salem, with pogy schools at the latter holding some impressive bass.

Free-falling water temperatures are driving stripers, blues, black sea bass, tautog, and groundfish all into feeding mode.

South Shore stripers up to 50-inches are being taken on eels while bonito, in both big and small versions, have made an appearance from Provincetown through Scituate.

Big blues are blasting plugs north and south of Boston, North Shore stripers are slurping eels at night, while further south, mahi mahi and yellowfin tuna are in abundance offshore.

Fishing is good up and down the coast, with a variety of good options including South Coast fluke, stripers and slab scup all feeding, a good fluke bite in Vineyard Sound and Tautog crunching crabs on wrecks and ledge throughout the South Shore.
