Richmond RCMP said a female suspect reportedly struck an 88-year-old woman in the head on March 5.

The reported assault happened around 11 p.m. on Nov. 22, 223, near the intersection of Kings Road and Fifth Street, according to police.

Kenyon Thomas Lavallee, 27, is accused of two counts of assault.

Police are looking to identify a woman accused of hitting a stranger then grabbing her hair and pulling her to the ground near the Metrotown bus loop on Friday.

Pouria Sahragard has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault by choking. He remains in police custody.

Police say the victim fought back against her alleged attacker and was joined by multiple bystanders, one of whom followed the suspect before he was arrested.
