Yeah, how about that . I was down in new orleans and ended up not hitting new orleans. I was pretty happy about that. In any event we have satellite right now and that is showing you some cloud cover out to the west of us and theres also a click of shower activity thats beginning to dance around areas to our south and west. As we get especially later into the afternoon and evening we are expecting to see some of that start to move in. 67 degrees in philadelphia right now. 68 degrees in wilmington. Might feel a tad humid out there, too. As you step outside, 60 degrees in allentown, 70 in cape may. It is going to be relatively warm afternoon. 72 degrees by noon. By 3 oclock, 73. And ahead of that rain well probably pop up to about 75. I can see that happening early by 1 30 or 2 oclock and 60s by 5 oclock and 67 by 7 oclock and theres that chance of an afternoon or evening shower. If youre dressing the kids this morning they dont have any rain to worry about so light jacket works okay. 59
Up some of that right now. Temperatures are not bad. 60 degrees in allentown, 66 currently in trenton. 67 degrees in philadelphia. And in wilmington and 70 degrees in cape may. As we go through the day, its not going to be as warm as yesterday. We wont be in the 80s. We will be in the 70s. By noon up to 72. A high today of about 75 degrees and i expect to hit that kind of early in the day, say, 1 30 or 2 oclock and then by 3 oclock down to 73 and its down into the 60s after that. There is the chance of occasional patch of drizzle or a patchy shower here or there. Most of that will be centered in the late morning and afternoon hours, maybe into the evening as well but i cant rule out something popping up here or there this morning. If youre dressing the kids for school, most of them will have a dry wait on the bus stop this morning with 59 degrees and some outlying suburbs, 66 in center city but by the way home, there is the chance that some of you encounter a shower so maybe some rain
Southern delaware. Most of this stuff actually in delaware. Some of our northern and western suburbs perhaps picking up a bit that of but most of the rain youre going to see today is going to be light and the bulk of it probably holding off until the afternoon and evening, even then its pretty light and spotty. 67 degrees in philadelphia right now. 63 in allentown. 65 in trenton. Dry in most of these spots currently. 69 in wilmington, 68 in millville and 70 degrees in cape may. And as we go through afternoon, yes, it will still be warm. 66 degrees by 7 oclock but by noon up to 72. Im expecting a high of 75 probably early in the afternoon around 1 30 or 2 00 and then by 3 oclock, 73 and its back into the 60s from there. Notice how there is the chance of a popup sprinkle or shower just about any time today. The bulk of it probably during the afternoon and evening hours. So, if youre dressing the kids for the bus stop this morning, cool enough for a light jacket. 59 degrees in some suburb
Shooting death of a teen. Challenge in charlotte. How the eagles are gearing up to take on the panthers tonight. Good morning. This is nbc 10 news today. Weve got rain on the first alert radar this morning. Lets get right to the first alert neighborhood forecast, the most accurate forecast in town. Tell us about it. Yeah, so if we look at our first alert radar, theres still a lot of green on the board but theres a little difference in se an hour and a half ago when all of our viewing zone was getting a nice steady rain and now theyre starting to see more broken showers. Why . Because the whole movement is from west to east. So its now moving over Mercer County and philadelphia and the back edge is starting to break over chester and even into delaware. Atlantic county, these are the areas with the deepest green which indicates the steadiest green, but none of these yellows or reds are showing up meaning we dont have any concern about flooding with the rain. Its just kind of an annoyance
