A new sculpture trail is set to attract many more visitors to the coastal port of Amble.

A new sculpture trail in Amble has been officially opened by the Duke of Gloucester.

The historic Ushaw House, Chapels and Garden will be illuminated in the spirit of Christmas over select weekends this December.

Hartlepool Waterfront Festival, the towns flagship summer event the Watis set to take place on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday July 10.

The installation has returned to Middlesbrough's skyline after touring the country.

‘Illuminating Ushaw’ features a new series of festive artworks unveiled at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens. An illuminated Christmas trail has been created by Hartlepool-based Artistic Solutions, and leads through the iconic location’s immaculate gardens, showcasing festive scenes including a nativity, a snowman parade, Christmas trees, and the North Pole.
