SHERIDAN (WNE) — The city of Sheridan is attempting to attract new employees by leasing a city-owned property.

Sheridan City Council approves potential leases for new employees, loan application

In an effort to attract new city employees, council approved a resolution to allow them to lease a city-owned house for up to six months.

City attorney Brendon Kerns has helped guide the city of Sheridan through several difficult periods over the last few years.

SHERIDAN — Amid hiring difficulties and housing shortages, City Administrator Stuart McRae proposed a house owned by the city be used for short-term housing.

The City of Sheridan and the HUB on Smith is continuing to look for volunteers willing to help remove snow for those unable to do so in the community. The Hub on Smith has partnered with the City of Sheridan to help coordinate snow removal services for those in need within the Sheridan community

Amid increasing call volume and Sheridans growing population, Sheridan Fire-Rescue has requested a master plan to guide the department for about a decade.
