Picon has appointed Fujifilm Europe head of print-on-demand Mark Lawn and Komori UK managing director Steve Turner to its council.

Kolbus UK managing director Greg Bird has been elected onto the Picon council, the body which determines the strategy and direction of the trade organisation.

Picon, the member organisation for industry manufacturers and suppliers, has appointed Edale managing director James Boughton as its new chairman.

Boughton has been with label and packaging equipment manufacturer Edale for 27 years, having joined with an engineering degree and taken them through to the acquisition by Canon Production Printing.
