Sky News journalists dodged gunfire while filming near Kyiv on Monday, with their chief correspondent and one cameraman taking bullets.

In the latest news in South Africa on Sunday 6 March 2022, the Northern Cape community were left in shock after a beloved officer was found dead.

British journalists with Sky News were shot at following an ambush by Russian forces that left one injured, and thankfully, no deaths were reported. 

A South African TV news producer and her four crew have been evacuated from Ukraine after two of them were shot by a suspected Russian "death squad".

Footage shows team’s vehicle being attacked by a Russian ambush squad on Monday near Kyiv

Camera operator Richie Mockler continued to film even as bullets pierced the vehicle he was in and took two rounds to his body armour.

The attack is thought to have been carried out by a saboteur Russian reconnaissance squad.

Ramsay was wounded alongside members of his team after his car came under fire in Kyiv

Chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay was hit by a bullet in the lower back while in a car carrying his crew towards Kyiv on Monday. Two rounds also hit camera operator Richie Mockler.
