Tom Boland has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Studio 1 and LIT. Starting today, Boland will lead marketing, brand partnerships, and ad products across the Studio 1 portfolio, including LIT, a rolling entertainment news network with a global audience of over 70M across a growing list of leading OTT providers, including Peacock, VIZIO Smartcast and Plex.
Boland, a veteran WarnerMedia executive, was Turner’s Vice President of Social Strategy and Solutions for Sports, News, and Entertainment. In that role, he led the paid social strategy for CNN, Bleacher Report, Adult Swim, and Team Coco. As Vice President of Marketing Partnerships at Warner Bros., he developed branded entertainment and marketing solutions for TMZ, Extra, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Rotten Tomatoes, and DC Comics. Prior to joining WarnerMedia, Boland held leadership roles at Ogilvy & Mather, WWE, and Digitas.
