Gone flat. joining me is regina lewis. lets start with add and subtract. >> unemployment actually dropped to 5.3% 223,000 jobs were added which does surpass the psychological threshold of 200,000. wages were flat. not good. participation rate actually went down so thats the subtraction piece of the equation. with more than 400,000 people opting out of the work force. some of that is demographic, baby-boomers retiring. one idea floating around is many its indicative of this tale of two americans....
