U.S. company Intuitive Machines and NASA have finally released photo proof of the robotic Odysseus lander on the moon's surface.

Officials announced that the lunar lander has downloaded data from all payloads and will go to sleep February 28, but possibly reawaken later.

Odysseus will run out of power later today, but Intuitive Machines hopes to reactivate the Moon lander in a few weeks once it has time to receive a solar charge.

New images released by Intuitive Machines show it sitting tilted on the moon's surface and the damage that the Odysseus lander incurred during landing.

Despite toppling on its side during landing, Odysseus is outliving its 10-20 hour prognosis.
