A convicted felon with a long criminal history has been charged with first degree murder in a Henry County shooting.

Angelina J. Spade, 19, of Truman Hill Road in Hardy is in the Roanoke City Adult Detention Center, charged in relation to the death of Michael Jerome Hairston, 46, of Summit View Drive in Martinsville, according to Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis, who held a press conference at the Sheriffs Office Wednesday afternoon.
