Since the Outer Sunset Farmers’ Market & Mercantile opened last summer, eating and shopping at the bustling, two-block market has become an essential Sunday activity for the neighborhood.

Since 2012, Namu Gaji had been one of San Francisco’s best examples of modern Korean dishes, which have been the brainchild of chef-owner Dennis Lee. But just shy of hitting its 10-year anniversary in the city, the restaurant has permanently closed.
Chef Lee, who co-owned Namu Gaji with brothers David and Daniel Lee, told the San Francisco Chronicle that the Korean restaurant would cease operations given the struggles it faced throughout the pandemic. (SFGATE and the San Francisco Chronicle are both owned by Hearst but operate independently of one another.)
