Superintendent Ryan Rhoades’ monthly report at the MCCSD board meeting on December 18 included a story of heroic collaboration and mutual aid that saved the town from a “near catastrophic event.”

For the second time in a row, the Mendocino City and Community Services District (MCCSD) held an unusually lengthy and well-attended monthly meeting on Monday, October 30, 2023.

The MCCSD held its monthly meeting on Monday, August 28, which was a relatively brief 45 minutes. Over half the meeting was used for public expression by a number of residents and business owners.

At its monthly meeting on July 31, the MCCSD approved the final FY 2023-24 budget and established an ad hoc committee to gather information for the full board to consider in anticipation of applications for commercial tents.
