Nearly 100-metre-tall 32-storey Supertech twin towers in Noida were demolished on August 28. These twin towers were located at the 'Supertech Emerald Court' housing society Sector 93A in Noida.

Noida Supertech Twin Towers demolition Live Updates: The towers, comprising about 850 flats and located in Sector 93A near the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, have a height of almost 100 metres — taller than the Qutub Minar.

Noida twin towers: A series of controlled explosions reduced the illegally built twin towers to a massive pile of rubble. Apex (32 storeys) and Ceyane (29 storeys) were gone in seconds, in the carefully choreographed and meticulously executed plan — the biggest such exercise in the country so far.

Realty firm Supertech on Sunday said the twin towers set to be demolished this afternoon were constructed as per the building plan approved by Noida development authorities and no deviations were made.

Noida twin tower demolition: There was heavy police deployment in the area to stop people from entering the barricaded area. People from Noida and neighbouring Delhi gathered near the Jaypee flyover ground to witness the marvel of modern-day engineering.

The children, both cousins, suffered injuries in the incident which took place around 6 PM on Tuesday in Supertech Eco Village 2 and were taken to a hospital.
