Seven of eight candidates for Downingtown School Board attended a forum Monday night, Oct. 9, 2023 held by the Chester County League of Women Voters. Candidate Jane Bertone was not present.

Back to Basics school board candidates are: Nick Spangler; Robert Rafetto, who did not show for the forum; Amanda Greenberg; Alain Oliver and Peggy Schmitt. United for West Chester Area School Board candidates are Katy Frey; Alex Christy; Daryl Durnell; Karen Herrmann; and Gary Bevilacqua.
