Nassau County to Pay $2.3 Million to End Sex Bias, Wage Lawsuits
Nassau County, NY, agreed to pay 235 police communications operators and supervisors $2.3 million to settle a trio of lawsuits alleging sex discrimination and other violations in the treatment of those workers as compared to a similar fire department employees.
