My specialty is native plants. In wishing to plant a native plant, ask around and find out if your choice of plant is a native here. A good example is Colorado blue spruce. People assume itโs a native. It is not and, woefully, becomes easily susceptible. And then there is the non-native Kentucky bluegrass. Letโs just say if nothing moves in your yard but a lawnmower, itโs time you might consider natives!
