There is new research from the Swear Lab at Keele University in the UK that suggests it might actually help with your pain threshold. Olly Robertson is the lead researcher at the Swear Lab and also a psychology researcher at Oxford University. Shes also a big fan of swearing and she spoke to Geoff Hutchison on Drive.
